Market Samples are found by a associate who personally visits
the High Point showrooms; many of which are not open to the
public. This type of field research is both time consuming
and costly on the vehicle. Remember, we're not talking about
buying real estate where the associate get a sizable commission
check at the end.
A non-refundable
fee of $40.00 is required to initiate a field search in High
Point NC. Of course, when FurnitureScout finds your piece
then the fee is credited back in the commission fee or purchase
price.
So, with all of this said up front Here's How It Works-
1. Select
the Google Checkout link and deposit the Field Search
Fee of $40.00.
2. Send
FurnitureScout.com a inquiry form found on the Contact
Us page and let us know what you are interested in
adding to your collection.
3.Once
FurnitureScout.com is notified of your deposit we will respond
to your inquiry and begin crafting a search plan in High
Point.
4. Field search begins and FurnitureScout.com emails quality
photographs and information about finds. Please note that
other buyers may also be interested in the same piece. If
you are really interested in the piece we show you purchasing
works best if a decision is made in a day or two. We have
seen this scenario so many times. It really can be a major
let down to our fine customers when another buyer snags
a piece from us.
5. At the point you decide on a piece and are ready to purchase
we will discuss your form of payment, shipping cost and
notify the shipper that best fits your geographic area that
a pick up will be scheduled. After the purchase is complete
and furniture is picked up the shipper will contact you
and schedule a delivery date and time.
6. All furniture must be inspected by the customer at delivery
time. Market Samples are all purchased "AS IS"
and "All Sales Are Final". Purchases are not returnable
to the showroom. However, if by any chance major damage
occurs between a pick up from the showroom and your home
you are 100% covered and you will simply not accept the
furniture and send back with the driver. Simple touch ups
to furniture are always performed at the time of delivery
and the drivers are always super helpful with placing and
moving pieces around. We always recommend a small tip to
the guys. They really do work hard for our customers and
go out of their way.
FurnitureScout.com Catalog Customers
A deposit
of 50% is required to order furniture from our catalogue.
When the piece(s) arrive at our shipper, are inspected by
the shipper and FurnitureScout.com for defects and are ready
to ship to the customer the balance of the purchase is due
before the shipment occurs. All shipping
fees are disclosed to our customers before the deposit is
made so there are hidden costs. When the furniture arrives
it is the responsibility of the customer to inspect the furniture.
If any damage has occurred during shipping the customer may
send back the piece and FurnitureScout.com will negotiate
the refund with the shipper. Once you have inspected the furniture
and signed the release form there is no returning the piece(s).
Please note that FurnitureScout.com works only with top qualified
shipping professionals who specialize in furniture delivery.
In most cases pieces are blanket wrapped and padded. For products
that are considered RTA and are shipped in cartons the customer
must open the carton and inspect the pieces before signing
the release. Purchasing
Information Payment
for items purchased through FurnitureScout.com can be made
via personal check or wire transfer. Company checks, money
order or bank cashier's checks to FurnitureScout.com will
also be accepted. If you prefer to use Visa, MasterCard or
Amex there will be a 4% processing fee of your total purchase
added. Most items found by FurnitureScout.com are considered
floor samples and are examined closely for small imperfections
or discoloration. FurnitureScout.com will take all reasonable
efforts to notify the customer of any such imperfections prior
to final decision to purchase. All sales are final and all
furniture is sold-As Is. Furniture is to be examined by recipient
for any shipping damage during delivery and set-up. Exact
measurements of space needs will be executed by Purchaser
and submitted in writing on a form provided by Furniture Scout.
